RURAL STAR ON THE RISE

The Drury office is the third member of Ray White Sue Douglas Group’s flourishing real estate family. Opened in June 2015 Ray White Drury embraces local history and atmosphere in the semi-rural setting through its charming and rustic interior design.

The branch represents a homecoming for owners Sue and Wayne Douglas who raised their family primarily in the area.

Drury sits on the southern edge of Auckland City forming a hybrid between town and country and is poised for massive growth. Conscious of this ever changing landscape, and passionate about the area, Sue Douglas set out to offer more than just a real estate office. The aim: to cultivate Ray White Drury into a vital information hub connecting community and property while providing an essential resource for a village facing rapid urban development.

Looking ahead as always Sue could see this level of business progression would require a vested leader, someone with equal drive and a shared passion for the vision of the office. Fitting the bill perfectly, Brent Worthington, well proven entrepreneur and salesperson, became a shareholder in the Drury office in July 2016. He derives the utmost satisfaction from improving and building environments that actively support and empower staff, believing that growth will always follow. Brent partners with Wendy Ploeg who also manages the team at Ray White Manurewa, working together and combining their experience Ray White Drury has a firm foundation for providing the excellent customer service clients deserve, and exceeding their expectations.

The journey so far has seen Sue’s ambitious goal of providing more than just a real estate office, but a core part of the community becoming a reality. The team has worked with Drury School on several projects such as Calf Club, and other great charity initiatives. Highlights have included ‘The Warriors Experience’ competition, Jammies in June supporting Kidz First Hospital as well as supporting several fundraising events for charity.
