Starting out in the computer sciences, Nasir realised he enjoyed his part-time job in hospitality more, finding the interaction with customers incredibly rewarding. Completing his IT Diploma, he acquired a second diploma in Hospitality Management. He subsequently set up and managed many high-end Auckland restaurants, honing his customer service skills to a fine art.
His first taste of the real estate world was through the eyes of a property owner, purchasing some Auckland apartments, which he still manages; he knows firsthand how important your investment is to you. Finding himself very interested in the field, he decided to pursue a profession in the industry. With his superior interpersonal skills, he knew he’d be a great match for Property Management, and secured a job at Ray White Te Atatu. Rounding out his talents, he also gained his salesperson’s licence and successfully sold properties for over a year. Five years on, Nasir’s become an expert on more than just letting and caring for your property, he can maximise your investment and help to grow your portfolio. His attention to detail, communication and consistent follow-up, means you’ll always be attended to in the quickest manner possible.
Nasir prides himself on his ability to defuse and manage potentially difficult situations, saying the most rewarding aspect of his role is helping others and creating long-lasting relationships in the process. Fluent in English and Bangla, plus an understanding of Hindi, is a distinct advantage for reaching a broader customer base. A recent transition to the Ray White Takanini has him highly energised, saying the branch's record of achievement and success for their clients is inspiring.
Describing himself as a family man outside of work, he spends most of his time with his wife, socialising with friends or heading to the beach. Nasir is also very well travelled and makes a priority of returning home every two years to see his remaining family.
